Our Story
TimeOut Tavern opened in 2025 at 1750 Divisadero Street in San Francisco. The address was the longtime home of the San Francisco Athletic Club, a place that meant a lot to the neighborhood. We kept the spirit, then turned up the volume for a new era of game day in the city.
Local restaurateur Michael Najjar, owner of Fish & Farm, stepped in when the previous bar closed. His approach is simple. Respect the history. Serve people well. Keep the energy high and the quality higher. TimeOut Tavern is the result.
Today you will find a lively room, a long bar, and 28 big screens so you never miss a play. We pour cold beer, mix classic cocktails, and keep the food straightforward and good. It is the kind of place where regulars say hello, visitors feel welcome, and the whole bar rises together for a touchdown.
What we believe
Game day is better together. Seats for friends, families, and fans of every stripe.
Good hospitality wins. Friendly service, honest pours, and prices that make sense.
Local pride matters. We cheer the Niners, Warriors, Giants, and every big moment that brings San Francisco together.
Neighborhood first. We are a Fillmore corridor spot. We support nearby schools, teams, and small businesses whenever we can.
